It is nearly unheard of for a teacher of Dr. Suttie's stature in the industry to continue to devote most of his time to one-on-one private lessons, but for Doc this is his passion. And his passion is your opportunity to learn side-by-side with the one of the best golf instructors in the world today.
    Dr. Suttie's philosophy is based on the dynamics of each individual body type and how that particular body type affects the golf swing. More than 30 years of study have gone into Doc's revolutionary teaching methods which have been featured in a GOLF Magazine cover story.

Doc's Private Lessons Include:
  • Personalized V-1 video analysis with side-by-side comparison to a tour pro with similar body type and swing mechanics stored on take home tape or DVD.
  • Clubfitting available.
  • Drills tailored to your individual swing needs.



WORLD-CLASS TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SUTTIE ACADEMIES
The Suttie Golf Academy has incorporated new technologies in our teaching programs this season including:

FOUR CAMERA VIDEO SYSTEM: This system monitors your swing from the four most crucial angles and will provide you with a computer-generated graphics and audio voiceover with a side-by-side comparison to a professional with a similar swing pattern.

SAM PUTT LAB: This state-of-the-art device shows you the most complete picture of what your putting stroke is doing at the moment of impact available anywhere. It also provides a training system to speed improvement.

FORCE PLATES: These weight transfer plates demonstrate where your weight should be at address, during the backswing, and at impact and provide feedback for eliminating the a dreaded reverse pivot weight shift during your swing.

TRACKMAN LAUNCH MONITOR: Our launch monitor can tell you if your clubs fit your swing pattern and give other important feedback. Combined with our multi-camera video system, the TrackMan will illustrate what is working or not working in your swing in more detail than any other launch monitor in the world. This is the Doppler radar-based system used by all the major television networks to provide shot information on the PGA Tour.

3 Hours: $615 *
1 1/2 Hours: $350
1 Hour: $235
1 Hour Junior Rate (under 18) $205

* The 3 hour package price can be broken into multiple shorter sessions or one 3-hour session at the student's choice.


DOC'S PLAYER IMPROVEMENT PACKAGE
Includes two full-swing lessons, two short game sessions, a club and putter evaluation and a 6-hole “on course” supervised lesson for $1,200.

HITTING THE GREEN WITHOUT HURTING YOUR BACK
A one hour session based on Dr. Suttie's doctoral background in biomechanics and work with the Chicago Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery. Instruction is directed toward alleviating pain from injuries while playing golf. This is a one-hour session priced at $235.

"NO BACKSWING" SWING
As described in the 2007 Golf Magazine article. One hour at $235.

PLAYING LESSONS WITH DOC
On-course 6-hole playing lesson. Rate is $415.

STAFF INSTRUCTION
Academy staff instructors are available for $80/$90 per hour depending upon their teaching experience level.
